Thursday, November 5, 2026, 9:00–11:30 am
Indiana University will sponsor an Idea and Paper Development Workshop (iPDW) in collaboration with the Global Strategy Journal (GSJ) on November 5, 2026, in Washington, D.C., as part of the pre-conference activities of AIB-SE 2026. The workshop helps participants fine-tune ideas and provides developmental feedback on full paper drafts focusing on contemporary issues in global strategy. It is open to all scholars, with preference given to early-career academics and colleagues who have not yet published in GSJ.
The GSJ editorial team provides detailed feedback to authors in a roundtable discussion format, and the workshop also invites peer feedback from the other participants. It opens at 9:00 am with a plenary session and combines paper presentations (full papers presented by participants and discussed by the editorial team) with roundtables on paper ideas, each led by a GSJ editorial team member, concluding at 11:30 am. Opportunities for networking and discussing future collaboration are an integral part of the program.
